Parketix imports hardwood flooring for the Scandinavian market. The aim is to import even one floor at a time and ship it directly to the construction site at the time needed. For this reason Parketix focuses on hardwood produced in Europe, mainly oak and ash.
The products carried are either floorboards, with dimensions ranging from 15 - 22 x 90 - 210 x 600 - 2700 mm (thickness x width x length mm) , or parquet 16 - 22 x 43 - 70 x 210 - 500 mm.
Quality
Our products conform to the DIN-280 quality standard. The standard specifies the number and size of knots in the wood and variations in colour. Parquet of the quality "Natur" has no knots and has the natural colour of the wood. In floorboards knots up to 15 mm are allowed. "Gestreift" quality allows sapwood. "Rustikal" and "KL III" allow bigger knots and some cracks. The DIN-280 standard also specify the allowed deviations in the measurements and the humidity of the wood.
